Women in Logistics - Christina's story

My name is Christina, and I am proud to serve as an Operations Manager at the Customer Fulfillment Centre (CFC). Over the past four years with Ocado, I began my journey as a Team Manager and have since advanced to my current role. Working in logistics alongside a team of talented individuals who inspire me every day is an incredible privilege. From the early days of our CFC, I have had the honor of helping to build our team and witnessing the site’s growth from its launch to full capacity. This transformative journey has been the highlight of my career.

Throughout my time in this role, I have acquired extensive skills in operations management, team leadership, and logistics optimisation. I have also developed a deep understanding of the Ocado Smart Platform (OSP), which has significantly enhanced my ability to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the CFC. Ocado Logistics is an exceptional environment for growth, offering continuous learning opportunities and career development pathways that have been instrumental in my professional advancement.

Beyond technical expertise, I have developed essential soft skills such as communication, conflict resolution, and motivational leadership.
