If you decide to work within the Ocado Solutions team, you'll be responsible for delivering our proprietary Ocado Smart Platform to retailers around the world. The platform provides our international partners with the physical automation and end-to-end software applications they need to run a world-class online grocery business.

We deliver and install the critical infrastructures and Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) that are the bedrock of our highly automated warehouses around the world. Our multidisciplinary teams ensure that all hardware, software, and network infrastructure work seamlessly together as a single joined-up solution.

Our Engineering Project Managers make sure that each part of our highly complex builds is progressing safely and at pace, without compromising quality. Join us and help engineer the future.

Our three Engineering Design teams design and detail our Customer Fulfilment Centres (CFCs), planning real world implementation of our advanced warehouse automation technologies. The Solution Design team is responsible for delivering CFC concept designs to suit our partners’ needs and metrics, realised as a 3D model.

The CAD Services team takes the concept design and builds in detail to allow the automation solution to be constructed and installed, complying to international standards. The Integration Engineering team ensures both concept and detail are technically workable, focusing on the interfaces with the building, its internal structures and services, and other automation equipment.

Our Engineering Operations teams are located within our partner sites. They are responsible for sustaining and optimising robotics and automation in the world’s most sophisticated grocery fulfilment centres to transform the operational economics for our retail partners. We ensure that all elements of the built environment run seamlessly and at peak performance.

Our teams may be distributed around the world, but we are a global community bringing together expertise across electrical, mechanical, controls, electronic, PLC, robotic automation, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fields to monitor and diagnose smart automation and robotics systems.

We are responsible for the procurement, site technical design, project engineering, delivery, and post-installation support of complex electro-mechanical technologies for our highly automated warehouses around the world. Our teams often work with short lead times to achieve ambitious business goals, while building relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term cost reduction and delivery.

We are experts in procurement, product manufacturing, logistics and change management of our innovative and evolving product portfolio.
