Our approach to wellbeing

Data is a key unlocker to understanding the health and wellbeing of our organisation. Therefore, we listen to our people to understand how we can best support them and create products and services with them in mind.

Some of our support available

Global Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)

Provides free professional and confidential support to all Ocado employees and dependents within your household, Available virtually and/or in person. 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

Wellbeing Platform

Offers wellbeing assessments and programmes, alongside support resources produced and reviewed by industry experts.

Mental Wellbeing Champions

are trained and equipped to provide our people with a peer-to-peer support avenue in a safe, confidential and non-biased manner.

The Mental Health Community

Exists to provide each other support when we most need it, to learn from one another, and to continuously promote good health and wellbeing.

Mental Health Matters bespoke training

Has been specifically designed to equip our people with the skills to better understand their mental health and gain the confidence to engage in open and honest conversations to offer or receive support.

Navigating life changes

Life's always changing, but sometimes we face a big or sudden change that is harder to deal with - even if the change is expected or positive. Whatever your circumstance, we are here to support you.

Care journeys and toolkits

Highlight routes of support for circumstances that we know are important to our people such as policies, benefits, tools and resources that can direct you to better health. Our guides include: mental health, musculoskeletal, bereavement and cancer support.

Family policies

We have a variety of policies available to our employees to support them and their families. Such as, parental, shared parental and adoption leave. We are also working on new policies to help enhance the support available to parents and carers.

Menopause and fertility

Improves support for colleagues affected by menopause, perimenopause and those undergoing fertility treatments. Colleagues who are experiencing challenges either directly or indirectly may be entitled to specific days of leave per year.

Transitioning at work

We understand that transitioning is a unique and personal journey. That's why our policy is designed to empower transitioning employees with guidance and a supportive framework that can be customised to meet their specific needs.
