In 2023, we opened our first Customer Fulfilment Centre in Japan, in the heart of Tokyo, in Honda, Chiba Prefecture. This is a highly automated warehouse powered by Ocado’s cutting-edge robotics and logistics technology.

At the Honda CFC, we bring together technology, automation, and specialist teams to deliver efficient, accurate, and scalable order fulfilment. These teams keep our automated warehouses running smoothly and ensure we deliver outstanding service for our partners and customers.

We care about our wellbeing
Insurance - all employees are automatically enrolled into our supplementary insurance schemes. These 4 schemes cover you and your loved ones in the best possible way. The 4 schemes are:
- Group Term Life Insurance(総合福祉団体定期保険): Pays 2× base annual salary (up to ¥50,000,000) in case of death or qualifying severe disability.
- Group Long-Term Disability (GLTD/団体長期障害所得補償保険): After a 90-day waiting period, pays 60% of monthly base salary (up to ¥1,000,000/month) until age 65 if you become unable to work due to illness or injury.
- Group Personal Accident (GPA/団体傷害保険): Accident-related death or disability coverage - death benefit 2× base annual salary (up to ¥100,000,000); disability lump sum 4–100% of the death benefit.
- Group Medical (GM/団体医療保険): ¥10,000/day hospitalization benefit; surgery benefit ¥100,000 (with hospitalization) or ¥50,000 (without); post-hospital outpatient ¥5,000/day.
