In the heart of Japan, near Tokyo, we opened our first Customer Fulfilment Centre (CFC) in Honda, Chiba Prefecture, in July 2023 - a highly automated facility powered by Ocado’s cutting-edge robotics and logistics technology.
This milestone marks the beginning of our presence in Asia, in partnership with AEON. The Honda CFC is the first advanced Ocado facility in Asia, setting a benchmark for online grocery fulfilment in the region. Learn more about → our partnership with AEON
At the Honda CFC, we bring together technology, automation, and specialist teams to deliver efficient, accurate, and scalable order fulfilment. These teams keep our automated facilities running smoothly and ensure we deliver outstanding service for our partners and customers.
Looking ahead, we plan to open our second CFC in Hachioji, Tokyo, in 2026 - part of our continued growth in Japan’s online grocery market.

- Group Term Life Insurance（総合福祉団体定期保険）: Pays 2× base annual salary (up to ¥50,000,000) in case of death or qualifying severe disability.
- Group Long-Term Disability (GLTD／団体長期障害所得補償保険): After a 90-day waiting period, pays 60% of monthly base salary (up to ¥1,000,000/month) until age 65 if you become unable to work due to illness or injury.
- Group Personal Accident (GPA／団体傷害保険): Accident-related death or disability coverage - death benefit 2× base annual salary (up to ¥100,000,000); disability lump sum 4–100% of the death benefit.
- Group Medical (GM／団体医療保険): ¥10,000/day hospitalization benefit; surgery benefit ¥100,000 (with hospitalization) or ¥50,000 (without); post-hospital outpatient ¥5,000/day.
