Which internship path fits you best?
Java Software Engineer
Duration: 6 months (July – December 2025)
Location: Kraków or Wrocław (hybrid with 3-4 days per week in the office)
Salary: 48 PLN gross per hour (approximately 8,000 PLN gross per month, depending on the number of hours worked), civil law contract.
Join a team of engineers building real-world systems used across the globe. You’ll write production-ready Java code, contribute to the Ocado Smart Platform, and improve software tools and workflows. All with the support of your team and mentors.
Who we're looking for:
- 2nd year or above IT students or people changing career paths
- Solid understanding of Java
- Great communication skills in English & Polish (min. B2)
- Available full-time in summer, part-time (24h+/week) in autumn
- Eager to learn, collaborate, and make an impact
Data Analyst
Duration: 6 months (July – December 2025)
Location: Kraków (hybrid with 3-4 days per week in the office)
Salary: 45 PLN gross per hour (approximately 7,500 PLN gross per month, depending on the number of hours worked), civil law contract.
As a Data Analyst Intern, you'll dig into billions of data points to help us forecast, plan, and optimize across Ocado’s operations. You'll use tools like SQL and Excel to uncover insights and support data-driven decision-making. You’ll collaborate with data analysts, engineers, UX researchers, and product managers.
Who we're looking for:
- 2nd year or above in mathematics, computer mathematics, or similar fields
- Strong Excel & SQL skills
- English at C1 level and Polish at B1 minimum
- Curious mindset, ready to solve real-world problems
- Available full-time in summer, part-time (24h+/week) in autumn
Frontend Software Engineer
Duration: 6 months (July – December 2025)
Location: Wrocław (hybrid with 3-4 days per week in the office)
Salary: 48 PLN gross per hour (approximately 8,000 PLN gross per month, depending on the number of hours worked), civil law contract.
Step into the world of Frontend development — whether you're curious about building mobile apps or dynamic web interfaces. As a Frontend Intern, you’ll get hands-on experience working on real features for the Ocado Smart Platform, using technologies like Swift (iOS) or modern web frameworks like React. With guidance from experienced engineers, you’ll contribute to production code, explore best practices, and grow your skills in an agile, collaborative environment.
Who we're looking for:
- 2nd year or above IT students or career changers with basic knowledge of Frontend (web or mobile) development
- Some experience in Swift, Kotlin, TypeScript, or any modern programming language used in Frontend
- Great communication skills in English & Polish (min. B2)
- Available full-time in summer, part-time (24h+/week) in autumn
- Eager to learn, collaborate, and make an impact
UX Graduate programme
Duration: 24 months (September 2025 – September 2027)
Location: Hybrid (based in Kraków or Wrocław, with some travel to the UK)
Salary: 8000 PLN gross/month (fixed-term contract)
Step into the world of UX with a two-year rotational programme designed to grow your skills. Every 6 months, you’ll join a new team and explore different areas of UX — from ecommerce to robotics interfaces. You’ll collaborate with designers, researchers, engineers, and product teams across Europe.
Who we're looking for:
- Recent graduates with a bachelor’s (or finishing before Sep 2025)
- Degree in UX, HCI, Psychology, Design, CS, or similar — or career changers with a portfolio
- English & Polish at B2 level minimum
- Creative, analytical, eager to learn, and ready to experiment
- Able to travel for short business trips (mainly to the UK and permit to travel is mandatory)
- Full-time availability for the next 2 years

Application steps
Java, Data and Frontend internships
1. Application submission (by May 4th)
Submit your CV by May 4th, 2025. Our recruitment team will review your profile to make sure you meet the basic requirements - so be sure to read the role descriptions carefully before applying.
2. Recruitment task (May 9th-11th)
You will receive a task to complete over the weekend after Long May weekend (May 9-11). We recommend allocating a few hours for solving the task to avoid the last-minute rush on Sunday. This task assesses basic problem-solving skills and technical abilities.
3. Conversation with Recruitment Partner
After a positive task assessment, a member of the recruitment team will get in touch with you to evaluate your proficiency in both Polish and English and confirm your availability for the internship program.
4. Interviews
- Technical interview (45 mins)
You will meet at least 2 current engineers for a more in-depth discussion about your technical knowledge in the chosen field and the completed task. - Values Assessment (45 mins)
The last step will be a short conversation with a team leader / manager to get to know each other and talk about your soft competences. We will also want to find out about the projects you have previously worked on and discover more about what drives you in this field. This is a two way opportunity, for you to get a feel for Ocado’s culture and for the interviewer to find out how closely your attitude and ways of working align with our culture.
5. Welcome on board (July 1st 2025)
We will officially welcome you on board on July 1st, but there will definitely be opportunities to meet in the office earlier, with your future team, buddy, and start building connections.
UX Graduate programme
1. Application submission

3. Assessment Day (June 5th 2025)
Selected candidates will be invited to an online assessment day during which you will be solving group and individual tasks to evaluate your soft skills and craft competencies.
4. Welcome on board!
