About the role: 6 month Fixed Term 

We are currently offering an outstanding opportunity for the right individual to become a Planning Administrator. In this role, your main objective will be to provide effective support to the diverse Planning Teams. These teams are responsible for overseeing all available manpower resources to guarantee the punctual and cost-effective delivery of Ocado groceries. Approximately 50% of the role will be communicating with our hourly paid workforce via web chat the other half will be various administrative tasks. This role will be hybrid working in the office two days a week, there will be the requirement to work regular weekends.

You will be:

The Planning Administrator role encompasses various key responsibilities, including maintaining precise time and attendance records for Ocado employees, generating regular reports, and engaging with internal customers through online chat. You'll play a crucial part in ensuring our routing schedule aligns with driver availability and effectively manage employee holiday entitlements in accordance with business restrictions. Additionally, you'll provide support for daily operational tasks across different Planning Teams and handle Contact Centre emails professionally and efficiently. To excel in this role, you'll need strong analytical and problem-solving skills, impeccable attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, excellent interpersonal abilities, solid organizational and prioritization skills, effective customer service and communication capabilities, and outstanding time management. Furthermore, you should be self-motivated, adaptable to changing environments, and willing to work diligently under pressure to meet deadlines. Your aptitude for teamwork, communication, and a commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement will be invaluable, along with a flexible approach to working hours to support our 24/7 business operations.
