About the role
A wonderful opportunity for someone to step into a Functional Support Manager role and become the main support pillar for the Legal, Governance and Intellectual Property departments ("LGIP") which form part of the office of the Group General Counsel (“GGC”), at Ocado Group.
The main aim of the role is to provide coordination and support to the Leadership Team and the function as a whole, by acting as a point of contact for enquiries and assisting with business issues relating to the needs of the business unit and wider team.
The role reports to the Head of Strategic Projects and supports the leadership team and the Group General Counsel team as a whole.

Responsible for driving team engagement through communications and organising team events.
Create and manage a GGC team communications calendar, including GGC team events, communications, agendas and the development of content.
Responsible for coordinating the preparation and dissemination of communications for the GGC Team via the GGC slack channels, in line with the wider internal communications strategy.
Assist and support with the creation of GGC’s internal intranet site (the “Hub”) and content management once fully established.  
Responsible for full diary management, travel & expenses for LGIP department leaders which will be supported by a small team of Team Assistants (TAs).  TAs are also responsible for the day-to-day administrative tasks of all GGC departments including some diary management for Heads of teams. The Functional Support Manager will be responsible for managing & developing this team.
LGIP Operations plays a large part in supporting efficiencies within LGIP which include the running of two key software systems. The Functional Support Manager will be expected to become familiar with these systems and may over time take on the day-to-day management of these tools.
Own and rollout key projects for the GGC senior leadership team, producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations. Problem solving to find solutions to challenges and improve processes where possible, working in collaboration with others.
Supports the GGC leadership team in strategic initiatives & the goals cycle.
Facilitate and support the People Partner with the listening and engagement initiatives.
Own the GGC Team onboarding experience for all new starters - the onboarding pack, communications and content, as well as gathering feedback to improve the experience.
Accountable for the agenda, organisation and preparation for the regular GGC team, Work Forum and SLT meetings and any strategy days which may include (but not limited to) presentations, live streaming functionality and following up on any action points as a result of the meetings.

About you 
Highly organised and a master in time management, with proven experience of working within a fast paced business where prioritisation is essential
Experience of diary management and travel planning
Strong project management skills
Advanced in Powerpoint, Excel, Word and Google Suite
Able to work autonomously, be proactive and able to communicate confidently with individuals at all levels, including Senior Managers, Heads of Department, Directors and Chiefs.
Educated to degree level is highly desirable.
