About the role:   Hybrid

As the Planning Manager, your main role is to oversee weekly sales and delivery plans, coordinate with planners to monitor customer demand and ensure adequate staffing and assets. You'll focus on achieving KPIs and service levels while optimising plans to reduce costs. You'll also establish protocols to handle disruptions and collaborate with stakeholders for effective communication and planning. Additionally, you'll lead logistics projects and uphold our core values in your interactions and leadership approach.

You will be:

As the Manager, your focus is on overseeing daily team operations to maximise client-to-customer value. You'll communicate operational changes transparently, optimise resource allocation based on customer demand, and guide your team of Planners to meet goals and KPIs. Ensuring timely completion of tasks and providing updates to stakeholders are key aspects of your role. You'll also address operational issues swiftly to maintain seamless operations, identify opportunities for improvement, and support their implementation. Promoting the effective use of departmental systems and compliance with guidelines are also crucial responsibilities to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced operational planner with a proven history of optimising workflows and achieving targets in fast-paced environments. You possess strong leadership skills, fostering collaboration and driving continuous improvement within your team. Your exceptional organisational abilities enable you to manage both routine tasks and unexpected priorities effectively. Stakeholder management is a strength, ensuring positive engagement and meeting their needs. With keen analytical skills, you excel in data analysis and process improvement, consistently delivering high levels of customer service. Your problem-solving mindset and communication prowess allow you to tackle challenges innovatively and build strong relationships across all levels. Additionally, your excellent time management skills enable you to prioritise tasks and optimise productivity efficiently. Preferred skills include proficiency in VBA, SQL, and advanced Excel, further enhancing your ability to analyse data and streamline processes.
