Engineering a complex, dynamic Grid system
We’re developing, testing and installing high-throughput, automated systems at the cutting-edge of structural-mechanical design. Each Grid can reach the size of 3 football pitches and needs to consider the challenges of parametric design, environmental hazards and manufacturing and installation tolerance demands.
These challenges rival most automated machines, scale, and complex AI-led load cases. Our teams enhance the Grid’s configuration for site design and use the latest technologies to optimise cost, materials and speed to install. Our expertise in leading analysis, design and verification capabilities keeps us at the forefront of innovation.
Peakon is our global listening tool and it is used across every part of our organisation to put people at the heart of everything we do. Everyone has the opportunity to share their views - to tell us what they love about working here, what’s working ...
Work from anywhere
In June 2021, we launched a popular initiative giving people who can work remotely the option of working from another location or country for up to 30 days each calendar year.
On top of our global Employee Assistance Programmes, our people have access to Unmind, a digital platform that provides our people with health and wellbeing guidance, tools and learning, wherever they work.
We’re partnering with the Kickstart Scheme in the UK to create up to 500 six-month work placements – part of our commitment to helping young people overcome employment barriers.
